Jackson was utterly bewildered by the boy’s prowess. The boy was clearly flexible given to his small size and, of course, his wet skin. But the strength couldn’t be real. How was this smaller boy even capable of tossing him like a ragdoll? He thought he saw for a moment something odd in Will’s eyes but a wall of rock broke his fall and all instantly went black. The impact from his head hitting a jagged rock had sent him into a coma that would possibly last for months if not weeks. But that image of Will’s eyes would stay forever burned into his mind.
