RULES
REGISTERING
MAKING AN ACCOUNT
| 1 | When first making an account, we ask that you make your username the correct way. Examples of correct ones are, Elena Gilbert, Oliver Queen, Dean Winchester. They are the type of usernames we are looking for not ones like arrow67 or impala1. If you happen to make a mistake along the way in your username, you can just go into you account settings and change it. |
APPLYING
| 2 | When joining you will be given the choice of being an original character or a canon character from the show Stranger Things. You are not required to make a long form like most roleplay sites have you do. You'll have a very simple form to complete and post in the pending section. This applies for both original character's and canon character's. |
WARNING
| 3 | Once on the site you are given 3 days to start your joining process. If you fail to do so, you account will be deleted seeing as you haven't made any effort to join. We don't need unused accounts wasting away on our site. |
BASIC ROLEPLAY RULES
RESPECT
| 1 | Respect your staff members. Don't hesitate to ask us any questions about the site. This also includes listen to the staff, if they tell you to do something, or stop doing something, please listen. Respect your fellow members as well. We are suckers for in character drama but not when it comes to real life issues. And lastly, respect also goes towards your character. Please play the character the correct way, including in species and personality. |
LOOK AROUND
| 2 | Before you pick a character, get familiar with the plot and check to make sure your character and face hasn't been claimed yet. But please remember to keep your account active. Canon characters must be played according to their history and personality, if you do not keep to their histories and personality we will message you about it. I get that sometimes you like to change there personality up a bit but don't completely change it. |
SAME FACE CLAIM
| 3 | Seeing as a lot of movies and shows have the same face claims at times it can be quite confusing so in this roleplay, there will be no same face claims unless approved by an admin. |
ORIGINAL CHARACTERS
| 4 | We accept all sorts of original characters of all sexuality's. In regards to being related to a canon character we ask you talk to one of the admins before you do so. If the canon you'd like to be related to is taken, the staff will talk with them and ask if they want to have any type of original characters related to them. If the canon character is not taken, the admins will talk and you'll be asked to give a detailed history regarding how you are related to the person. |
ROLEPLAY MANNERS
| 5 | Do NOT intrude on another RP. It's rude and its bad RP manners. If you have a good reason then it's allowed. Make sure to ask the members involved in RP if you would like to join and if they agree then you may join them. Make sure out of character chat stays out of character and you use some type of brackets or you just send them a message. Please if you are not part of the role play, you may stalk just don't post out of character chats in there, it spams the members subscribed to the topic and it can be rather annoying when you keep talking and are ignored. |
ADDING LOCATIONS
| 6 | If you would like to add a location to the boards so that you may role play there, please message any of the admin'sand the location will be added as soon as possible. |
GOD MODDING
| 7 | God modding occurs when a character is not taking the hits they receive as the character should. If your character gets stabbed by another character, it's going to hurt and it's going to leave a mark. If you're fighting with another member, you must take the hits properly. If a human were to fight against a fallen angel, they fallen will win. In other cases, god modding can occur when another character is brought in, which is completely fine as long as we don't have them on the site yet. As long as you don't bring the character into major plots, that is perfectly alright. |
SITE RATING
| 8 | Our forum is strictly PG-13. Yes, you may hint towards sexual acts with characters, flirtations, and violence, and cussing is allowed, but not in every sentence. Anything too violent and/or graphic will be deleted immediately. If you do wish to do something that is considered rated r, please go somewhere other than the main roleplay areas. Not many people want to read that and i'm sure younger kids will tend to appear on here at times. |
DEATH
| 9 | When it comes to dying, it seems in most shows the characters will come back but if your character happens to want to die or may die and come back, talk to the admin before you do so. We like to know everything that is happening on our site at all times. |
POSTING
| 10 | Everything is to be written in third person and past tense unless in direct speech, or when posting in chat box's or messaging people. Please, no one-liners or two sentence reply. We want at least 100 words so that the other person has enough to reply to. |
ACTIVITY
| 11 | Stay active. An activity check will be sent out ever month, if we don't get a reply back within a day, your character will be archived for the time being. If you are going away or can't get online for some reason, please post a message in the designated area and a staff member will let other staff know so you don't get your character archived. Logging in and just chatting in the chat box does not count as being active. You must roleplay to be counted as active. If you fail to send an absence, you will be deleted from the forum, and your playby will be open for use once more. If you character was to get archived, you are required to have at least 5 replies using you character before you can claim everything of there's back. |
